Reception Trip to Scarborough

Last week Reception had a brilliant trip to Scarborough! We began the day exploring the Sea-Life centre in small groups.

The children were able to see their favourite sea creatures. Alexander and Hannah said, "We loved seeing the Stingrays, they were so slimey".

All the children had the opportunity to touch a real life starfish when exploring the rock-pool, they thoroughly enjoyed being able to have this real-life experience. After this we had a lovely picnic lunch in the sunshine on the grass outside.

We had so much fun playing on the beach; we built sandcastles, played team games and hunted for shells. Next we went to paddle in the sea; everyone thoroughly enjoyed this part and got very wet!

Everybody had a wonderful day and it was a thoroughly enjoyable day!

Harvest Festival

A huge thank you to our parents and carers who very generously donated for our Harvest Festival collection.  These are the bags all sorted and ready to go to the refugee camp in Calais.  Thank you to our parent, Becky Rayner, who has co-ordinated this.
